Our team at info@courtfitpadel.co.uk is always happy to help, but we might need a moment to get back to you! Answers to most of your questions can be found below, so please kindly check this page before reaching out.
No, we never accept cash. All court or equipment rental, and camp/class/course booking payments must be made online via Playtomic mobile app.
You’re likely trying to book them using the Playtomic website on your desktop/laptop, or the desktop view on your mobile phone! Playtomic only allows to book courts this way.
For class or course bookings, you’ll need to download the Playtomic mobile app on your phone. Once downloaded, please set up a free account (which only takes a few minutes). You can then find our venue “CourtFit Padel Cobham” in the app. There, please go to the “Academy” tab to see our classes and courses.
Yes. Class and course bookings are only possible to make via mobile app. It’s a limitation of Playtomic which is not up to CourtFit, sorry!
You can download Playtomic from:
On default, bookings for any given slot open exactly 7 days before. E.g. at 5pm on Monday, you’ll be able to book any courts up to 5pm on the following Monday.
Some of our memberships allow you to book 2 weeks in advance. See more info here
No, our membership schemes are not required to play at our courts or join the classes. They’re simply discount schemes for frequent bookers. You can find more on our memberships here:
Private lessons are arranged directly with coach. You can either ask them for a lesson while at the courts, or email our office team at info@courtfitpadel.co.uk and we’ll pass you their contact details. Only CourtFit coaches are allowed to provide lessons at our courts.
If the weather forecast prior to the session is poor, any decision to cancel will be made by the on-court team as late as it is reasonably possible. We recommend our coaches to make a decision 40-60 minutes in advance of the session provided that the weather makes such call possible. Our overall intention is for as many sessions as possible to go ahead.
Once a decision is made, players will be contacted either directly by the coach via Playtomic or by our office team via email to the address on their Playtomic account.
In the event of inclement weather (e.g. heavy rain), the extent to which a session is deemed to have taken place is dependent on the total amount of time on court. This time does not have to be continuous.
Where play was not possible for more than half of the allotted time, players will be issued with credit in a form of a discount code.
If a session runs over half of the designated time, the session is considered as having taken place and no credit will be issued.
Refunds are not available for sessions cancelled due to rain.
Private lesson cancellation rules are fully up to the coach.
No, we play outdoors all year round. Our courts are classed as all-weather. There is however a lovely cafe in the Hilton Hotel where we’re located which makes a perfect spot to cosy up and relax after playing during colder winter months.
Private lesson fees are up to the coach so you’ll need to inquire with them. Players then transfer the fees directly to them. Usually, an hour-long lesson for one player costs around £65 which includes the court fee and equipment.
Currently all our group classes fall within the range of £20-30 depending on the length of the lesson. You’ll see the prices via Playtomic mobile app.
For most sessions, we aim to have a maximum of 4 players per court.
Some classes however will have the capacity increased to 6. This allows us to have more group-based learning approach which we find beneficial for the players in our Intro to Padel classes or children’s camps.
